Itinerary :

Day 1

Meet upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, warm greeting by our friendly representatives, transfer to Hotel of your choice for check in.

A perfect introduction to Kuching City for your first step onto this mystic island of Borneo. This tour will take you to Cat Monument, Old China Town, Tua Pek Kong Temple, City Hall, Fort Magherita, the Astana, State Mosque, Colonial Building, City Tower, Suspension Bridge, Kuching Waterfront, and the main attraction will be the world famous Sarawak Museum, the best museum in South-east Asian.

Kuching is a good destination to shop for souvenir such as woodcarvings, “Pua Kumbu” with native design, Pepper products and Sarawak pottery. Bird’s Nest Factory is also one of the famous souvenirs which can be found in Kuching.

Have dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 2

Breakfast at hotel

After breakfast will depart to Orang Utan Centre, is situated 30 minutes away from the Kuching City by road which features a 740 acres sanctuary for Orang Utan. Established in 1975, is a home to rehabilitate wildlife incapacitated by prolonged captivity for eventual release to the wild, they are train to learn and survive in their natural environment. Walk through the trail and look out for Semi Wild Orang Utan in their natural habitat.

Then proceed to Pottery Factory, you will be fascinated by the delicate and creative work involves by the skillful artists. This is a chance for you to get a typical Sarawak ceramic and native handicraft or “must buy items” to bring back as a souvenir or gifts for friends, family members or personal collection.

Lunch time

In the evening, proceed for Sarawak River Cruise. A cruise along the Sarawak River is a relaxing way to enjoy the various phases of the city and retrace the trip James Brooke made when he first arrived in Sarawak. You will sail past the Waterfront, Brooke Dockyard, the 100 year old Malay Kampung, Fort Margherita, Astana, Square Tower and the Industrial Estate.

Dinner time

After dinner, transfer back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3

Proceed for Sarawak Cultural Village which is located 35km away from Kuching City at the foothill of the legendary Mount Santubong. The village also called “Living Museum” because native live in its house and make handicraft. It has seven representative ethnic houses – Bidayuh Longhouse, Iban Longhouse, Penan Hut, Orang Ulu Longhouse, Melanau Tall House, Malay House and Chinese Farm House. It offers visitors a taste of their lifestyle and promises an unforgettable experience of sampling the varied culture of the state inhabitants include about 45 minutes cultural performance in the village’s mini air-conditioned theatre.
