Itinerary:

Day 1

Meet upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, warm greeting by our friendly representatives.

Proceed to 2 hours journey across the mountainous Crocker Range with amazing views of rolling hills and lush green countryside.

Upon reaching the famed Kinabalu Park, be impressed by the majestic Mount Kinabalu, the forth tallest mountain in South East Asia. Kinabalu Park is a World Heritage Site and a sanctuary to thousands species of flora and fauna, haven for researchers and enthusiasts. Arrive at the resort for briefing and check in.

Dinner and free at own leisure.

Day 2

Enjoy your breakfast at resort

Meet at Kinabalu Park headquarters to register yourself with the park authorities and collect your packed lunch which you can enjoy on the way up to the mountain.

Then off to Timpohon Gate where climbers will start the adventurous leg up to Laban Rata with an experienced mountain guide. Upon arrival at Pendant Hut, check in followed by a safety briefing by Mountain Torq instructor at 1500hrs.

At 1800 hrs proceed for dinner at a restaurant in Laban Rata. Overnight at Pendant

Hut dormitory (non-heated).

Day 3

0130hrs – an early rise as one would need to reach submit for sunrise. Upon reaching Low’s Peak – the highest point of Mount Kinabalu, be awed by the view of the first burst of sunrise in the distance, a view that many have stated as indescribable.

Then descend to Sayat-Sayat Slab to meet your Mountain Torq trainer for a detour on the Walk The Torq activity down to Pendant Hut. Along the way you will see stunning views and hidden corners of the mountain plateau. After breakfast, continue descend to Timpohon Gate.

A transfer will take you to the headquarters to collect your certificate for completion of the climb.

Proceed back to Kota Kinabalu hotel ( your own arrangement) or Airport.

It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb.  If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (Overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
