Itinerary:

Day 1

Meet upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, warm greeting by our friendly representatives.

Upon reaching the famed Kinabalu Park / Mesilau Nature Resort, be impressed by the majestic Mount Kinabalu, the forth tallest mountain in South East Asia. Kinabalu Park is a World Heritage Site and a sanctuary to thousands species of flora and fauna, haven for researchers and enthusiasts.

Arrive at the resort for briefing and check in.

Dinner and free at own leisure.

Day 2

Enjoy your breakfast at resort

After breakfast, meet at Kinabalu Park / Mesilau headquarters to register yourself with the park authorities and collect your packed lunch which you can enjoy on the way up to the mountain.

Then off to Timpohan / Mesilau Gate where climbers will start the adventurous leg up to Laban Rata with an experienced mountain guide. During your climb, be amazed by the thousand species of vegetation ranging from the lower to the upper of Sabah’s Tropical Rainforest.

Laban Rata will be the check-in point for first day of the climb. Here, one can rest, regenerate, share experience with other mountain climbers and just enjoy the view of misty mountain top.

Dinner will be served at a restaurant in Laban Rata.

Day 3

0200hrs – an early rise as one would need to reach submit for sunrise. Upon reaching Low’s Peak – the highest point of Mount Kinabalu, be awed by the view of the first burst of sunrise in the distance, a view that many have stated as indescribable. Begin to descend to Laban Rata for breakfast. Head back to Timpohon Gate.

A transfer will take you to the headquarters to collect your certificate for completion of the climb. For those complete the climb in Mesilau Trail will get the 2 color certificate.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Back to Kota Kinabalu and check in to your lodge with free for own leisure.

Day 4

Breakfast at Lodge, free for own leisure until time to transfer to airport for flight departure.

Drop by the Handicraft Market (known as Phillipines Market) on your way to airport to get some souvenirs for your beloved family and friends. These include keychains, beaded bracelets and necklace. You will be spoilt for choice with miles and miles of beautiful sarongs and pareos, an ideal reminder of your tropical holiday in Sabah.

It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb.  If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (Overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
